Silver Sands Casino closes down

This whole online gambling ban in South Africa is starting to get really serious. First Piggs Peak Casino shut down and now Silver Sands Casino has joined in.

Just like Piggs Peak Casino, Silver Sands Casino will no longer be offering their games to South Africans. If you have an account, it will remain accessible and you’ll be able to withdrawl any funds owed to you by emailing support@silversandscasino.com

I honestly didn’t think it would all happen this quickly, but clearly it is. I wonder if there’s a chance in the court’s ruling being changed or anything.

Does anyone know?

Silversands and Piggs Peak Casino are now back open for business as Piggs Peak got the right for leave to appeal the judgement against them. In the interim the SA Government is in the process of legalising online gambling in SA and the bill should be signed before the end of 2010. Hope this helps
