With the whole ban on online gambling in South Africa, online casino’s are starting to close down, the latest bring Piggs Peak Casino.
They recently lost their application in the Pretoria High Court regardling the legality of South Africans playing on their Swaziland licensed internet casino. From now on, Piggs Peak Casino will no longer be offering South Africans access to their system.
This lock down happens from midnight tonight, until further notice. Any players who have balances on their accounts, need not worry, your money is safe and if you need to withdraw it, you can do so by emailing support@piggspeak.com and they will process it.
It’s sad to see online casino’s shutting down for South Africans, I’m sure that there could have been a better way to resolve this matter, but alas, the decisions not up to me.
I agree. It’s a sad day in our Internet history. But more so, is that casino online advertising will also become non existent, which is the 2nd biggest online advertising in the country. Interesting times ahead.
