If you’re cat fan, you’ll know that 90% of the time, when you buy them something, they won’t actually want to use it, at least not for a long time, they’re strange like that ;)
Anyway, since I got the kitty couch, Cally and Belly have loved it, check them chilling out:

Very cute little couch, they look very contented.
It’s weird isn’t it cats are meant to be very curious, but your right they do seem to take a long time to adjust to new things.
I had to give up buying my dogs beds as he would just try and destroy then. He now just sprawls out over the two seater leather couch. Only just big enough for him.
Ye Mike, they’re incredibly curious and they’ll take a look at anything new that arrives, but it’s like if they sense it was bought for them, they don’t want to give off the vibe that they aren’t completely independant, so they normally finish exploring and then ignore the item, only to return a few weeks later to show complete interest. I find it amazing how they can tell which items are specifically bought for them and which ones aren’t, because the behaviour towards each item is completely different.
I know so many people who have big dogs that totally dominate the couch! :D
