Unlike alot of Capetonians, I always look forward to winter. You see, not only do I enjoy the snuggle weather, hot chocolate addiction and all the movie watching that the chilly season brings – I totally love that I get to wear coats, boots and woolie things.
Here are 4 things that are currently at the top of my “winter wear wants” list:
1. A black blazer
It’s such a verstaile piece of clothing and can work for casual or dressy. Plus, it looks great on skinny or curvy girls.
2. Black leather biker boots
I’m seriously digging biker boots. This may be partly due to the fact that I actually get to ride on the back of bike quite often, so I see them as fashionable and practical. The pretty boots in the above picture are by Miu Miu.
3. A long cardigan
If there is one cardigan to buy this winter, it’s a long one. I want a thin, grey one (like the one in above picture)
4. Studded ballet flats
I’ve seen a few pairs of cute, studded ballet flats recently and I want some. The ones in the above picture (taken with my phones camera) are available from Woolworths for about R160.

So very unlike me! i crave for summer and i hate buying wintr clothes :P There were really cute studded pumps at mr price when i was in SA in dec :) We cant wear thin cardigans or pumps here in winter though, everything will freeze off! CT winters are def not that bad :)
This winter I will get a beautiful and stylish trench coat, hopefully in black!!

Not into Biker Boots. They’re not sexy. Too butch.

I was at YDE at the Waterfront and they must have at least 8 or 9 different styles of knee high boots for ladies, so if any of you want, you know where to look :) Obviously it’s YDE, so quality is questionable ;)
I bought a size five cowboy boots by YDE and only the one shoe fits, then i went back to get a size 6 and they did not have any 6′s.. can you please please get those owboy boots in again?
@libe – That’s a bummer! I must admit, YDE’s clothing isn’t nearly as good as it used to be, in fact, I’d go as far as saying that it’s becoming a bit rubbish, it’s far too often that I go in and one sleeve is longer than the other, or there are holes, etc. I also believe that the women’s clothing isn’t doing too much better =\
