I love brand synergies, so when I heard that Kehinde Wiley (Internationally acclaimed artist) has teamed up with Puma to create several original works of art, it was quite exciting; what’s better, and definitely well aimed at South Africa, is that the pieces of art are inspired by some of Africa’s greatest soccer hero’s.
These artworks will be created in order to establish a limited collection of apparrel, footwear and accessories, right in time for the 2010 World Cup.

PUMA recently won an iF design award for leisure and lifestyle, so this synergy doesn’t surprise me.
