Killer slip on shoes

SeaVees by James Perse are starting to become the rage, perhaps not in South Africa, but definitely overseas. Inspired by the casual style of California in the 1960s, these shoes pair well with the James Perse design philosophy and aesthetic. Canvas upper, suede heel patch, signature light blue rubber sole.

They come in black, ink and souris, and sell for £150.00, which is quite steep, but I reckon they’re worth it.

    Awesome styling!

I wonder if they have cheaper than 150 pound versions of em available here! Maybe I should check out a Vans or DC store.

They are expensive indeed, but they look incredibly well made; I dig them, I think more and more geeks are guna start wearing this sort of shoe because it’s easy and comfortable.

These are great styled sneakers. As someone who has been wearing slip-on and CVO sneakers / plimsolls since the late 1950s, I must agree these are in the spirit of California surfers except in price. Surfers couldn’t afford these sneakers, as there were many more important items in their and our lives in the ’60s and ’70s.

Long live slip-on and CVO sneakers and plimsolls!
