Bioshock 2

While on the surface it might look like little more than a very pretty first-person shooter, BioShock is much, much more than that. Sure, the action is fine, but its primary focus is its story, a sci-fi mystery that manages to feel retro and futuristic at the same time, and its characters, who convey most of the story via radio transmissions and audio logs that you’re constantly stumbling upon as you wander around. All of it blends together to form a rich, interesting world that sucks you in right away and won’t let go until you’ve figured out what, exactly, is going on in the undersea city of Rapture. Dark Void

Developer Airtight Games has been hoarding details about its upcoming shooter-with-a-rocket-pack “Dark Void” since its announcement in October 2007, but we managed to get some more information about it, including a tour of some all-new areas and encounters with a few previously unseen enemies.
The mission Airtight takes place shortly after our hero Will Grey upgraded from a hoverpack to a full-on rocket pack. After knocking out a force field, he must fly into a bell-shaped core to take out some machinery inside. Lead designer Jose Perez showed off one of the ways to pull off the mission, ascending into the structure by using the game’s unique vertical cover system. Alan Wake has garnered as many headlines for its protracted development time as it has for its impressive technology, but this year’s E3 was a completely new beginning for the game. Seeing it in action alongside the development team at Microsoft’s booth, we caught ourselves watching open-mouthed numerous times. We know that Halo Reach is going to be one of the standout games of 2010, but how about the ‘biggest game of 2010? period? Thats what Geoff Keighley from Spike TV thinks, when he was speaking in a recent Major Nelson podcast.
As reported from VG247, Halo Reach is set for an official unveiling at the upcoming Video Game Awards, so if you’re a Halo nut, this is one event that you won’t want to miss out on.
He reveals that he has spoken to members of the team working on the game, who he says are all pretty excited about the game’s release, while also adding that this will be the first time that gamers get to see the world of Halo Reach – to which he calls ‘phenomenal’. Read More..

Once again stepping into the role of the heroic Commander Shepard, gamers command their crew on a suicide mission in space. Players must assemble their squad from amongst the galaxy’s most powerful mystics, geniuses, and convicts and lead them on a suicide mission to discover why humans are vanishing from the galaxy.
