How to lock the keypad on an iPhone

Earlier today I was chatting to a couple people online and one of the questions that was brought up was about iPhones and how there are lots of little tips and tricks available all over the Internet.

One of the people in the discussion wanted to know if there was a way to lock the keypad on an iPhone instead of waiting for the automatic inactive period to kick in. The solution is really simple – you simply click the on/off button and the phone automatically gets locked.

How I realise this is a really simple example and there are hundreds of way cooler tips and tricks available, but it’s one to get the ball rolling :)

Stay tuned for many more iPhone tips and tricks right here on iMod!

  1. You can also take a screegrab/photo of the screen by holding down the home button and then pressing the on/off button on the top of the phone. This image will be saved in your photos :)

  2. Ye bro, checked that feature out last night, very useful!

Have your say..
