Lights out tonight – seriously!
How annoying is this – Perspectives, a Cape Town Flat by Chris M, have a electricity dispensor downstairs, where we all buy electricity and can you believe it, it’s broken! This means that nobody can buy electricity, and I have 0.4 units left, so in the next hour I’ll be without electricity, which isn’t the end of the world for me, but all the Woolies food in my fridge is going to go off. I tell you, Property Exponents are going to get a bill from me, cos they can replace the R800 or so worth of food in my fridge!
I am prepared though..

.. and I’ve got 2 laptops and 2 mobile phones fully charged, so I guess I’ll be tweeting by candle light tonight!
Not impressed though, and I’m not the only one as there were a number of other people trying to sort this out!

Hi there Chris… You should register at energy.co.za and buy electricity from the site or via sms. You recieve your voucher number by sms and email (email usually arrives first, less than a minute) Its simple and they hav’nt let me down yet.

Hi @Welston – Unfortunately it doesn’t allow us to use any other 3rd party services – incredibly annoying hey?!

Most definitely not an ideal situation. Hope your night was at least a restful one. Unplugging on occasion ain’t a bad thing :D

Ye Welston, unplugging is a very good thing! Night was alright hey, how was yours?

Hi Chris, I actually had an excellent evening. Went to Forbidden Fruits Festival in Worcester. Just went for the day and stayed the night. We saw Zebra & Giraffe, Bed on Bricks and Prime Circle. Just a quick trip out of the city to relax and enjoyed some of SA’s finest…
