Customize your Google Search Results Page
I came across a really interesting article on SearchEngineJournal about customizing your SERPs and decided that it would be cool to share it with you, so here are the customizations:
1. Google Preview – A firefox addon, which adds a thumbnail screenshot of the destination page.
2. Google Icons – Display the sites favicon in the SERPs.
3. GoogleBlack – We’ve all seen this before, when people launched extensions and websites which displayed Google in black to save electricity.
4. AdWords Right – Moves the Google Ads above the SERPs to the right hand side of the site.
5. Colorful Google Search – Adds random light background colors of search results.
6. Keyword highlight – Highlights the keywords you’ve searched for.
7. Google Numbered Results – Possibly the most useful of the bunch, this script adds numbers next to each result.
