I purchased a Samsung 2494HS 24″ LCD widescreen monitor from take2 earlier this month on Wednesday the 6th, and I’m still absolutely loving it!
It’s a thing of beauty!
I couldn’t possibly settle for a 19″ LCD screen – they’re tiny in comparison to the 23″ and over screens.
Well, for me, I prefer a smaller screen, but two of them. Dual Screens is definitely the way to go forwards, but dual 24s would be a little too crazy to use..
But dude, you’re having a one track computer usage only mindset here. My computer is not just used for work, but for play also. So games and DVDs are so much better on one big widescreen!
There’s also a larger 36″ to be had, but for over R4000. The 24″ cost just under R2600 and it was delivered to my front door.
I had had my eye on the 23″ model for a few months and I was going to purchase it when I saw that the new 24″ model had just come in. It has built-in speakers and can be wall mounted – 2 features the 23″ model lacks. It cost only a couple hundred rand more.
I’m glad I waited. The 24″ model totally rocks.
