Salma Hayek lead the Volvo Oceans Race
Award winning actress Salma Hayek reprieves her role as godmother of PUMA Ocean Racing’s il mostro as she and her husband, PPR’s Francois-Henri Pinault take the helm at the Boston to Galway race leg start of the Volvo Ocean Race 2008/2009. PUMA Ocean Racing is currently in third place overall and is the only sportlifestyle company to participate in the 37,000 nautical mile race around the world. The race ends in June in St. Petersburg, Russia.
Salma and Francois-Henri were given a tour of the award-winning PUMA City by PUMA’s Chief Marketing Officer, Antonio Bertone. PUMA City made its only US appearance at the Boston stopover for the Volvo Ocean Race 2008/2009.
