Hoodia gordonii is a leafless, spiky plant found in the semi-deserts of Southern Africa. It has been used by the local tribes for centuries to control hunger on long hunting trips. It’s active ingredient is P57, which suppresses the appetite by sending a signal to the brain that the stomach is already full. I use Nrg in the Thermagetics range by Herbalife as a energy drink, it is also good for concentration. It is derived from Kelp. At first it tastes quite vile, but hey it WorX for me.
@nikki – I have no used this product, I’ve been lucky and never needed to lose much weight and when I have, I burn weight quite quickly. However, a friend of mine has tried it and she found is decent and did manage to lose a fair amount of weight. She also didn’t suffer from any side effects. I hope that helps
