Nothing better than a productive weekend!

I don’t know about you, but when I arrive at a Sunday evening and I know I’ve accomplished a great deal over the weekend, I always feel more rested and ready for the week ahead.

I left work on Friday after a serious Operations meeting, which went very well and put a lot of things in perspective for me. I raced off to fetch, Fe, who had booked us tickets to Andre the Hypnotist . We arrived on time and met up with Tim and his girlfriend for a quick drink before heading in. I must admit that at first I wasn’t too pro the whole hypnotism thing and it made me feel a little uneasy, but 15 minutes into the show I was laughing more than I think I’ve laughed in years – it was unbelievably brilliant! I will attend the next time he comes! After the show, Fe and I missioned around trying to find somewhere to grab a drink, but to be honest, there are very few up market, relaxed places in Cape Town to go to later in the evening – Any idea friends?

Saturday started bright and early, I had a list of things to do, including a bank mission, post office mission and 11 important emails to attend to. Time was on my side and I managed to get everything done by just after lunch. I popped in at my folks place to catch up with them and then headed through to Constantia Primi for a cocktail or two with Natalie before heading off to a braai with Dani and Morne. Cocktails were great, was wonderful catching up with Natalie, as always.

Fe and I arrived at Dani and Morne, where Morne prepared and braai’ed some of the most delicious food I’ve ever had – he really is a braai master! A couple glasses of red wine and some great food and the night crepted away from us. I only got to bed rather late, but managed to sleep in until midday, which is rare, and then headed through to my folks for lunch, as usual. We had roast chicken and veggies, which were yummy. After that, my folks came through to my flat to take a look and then I headed off to do my shopping – R370 later I had everything that I needed!

I’ve just finished going over everything I need to do at work this week and I’m feeling very confident about this week, things are moving along very well at the moment!

Interesting. Those people usually freak me out as well. I dont like Hypnotists.

I had a nice one myself. Went to the Cape Town fashion week.

Hehe, agreed, but honestly, after watching the show I have a different view on the matter. In terms of comedy, I think it’s fine, in terms of therapy, I don’t support it.

Ah ye, how was the fashion week? I wanted to attend!

Got something to say? Go for it!
