This new blog http://alassiohorsesanctuary.blogspot.com/ is a platform to get all animal lovers involved in helping out horses, ponies and even donkeys that have been dealt an unfair “hoof” in this world.
We at Alassio Horse Sanctuary are devoted to raising funds and support in many different ways so our rescue cases can put one hoof on the road to recovery.
It might be a small charity but it has a gigantic heart at it’s core.

In the coming weeks, months and hopefully years to come we will be updating you on the latest events, auctions , fund raisers and most importantly the progress of our rescue cases so you have a direct involvement in all of our efforts.

Hi there Wezz ,
When you have spent days seeing horses beaten and left for dead then get back to me on how humorous you feel.
When someone makes a mockery of a worthy cause it’s not a sharp sense of wit you display but a red neck/hillbilly sensibility .
Horse jokes are fine but not in this context .
Have some tact next time.
Next time I see a dead horse I’ll think of people like you… are n’t you proud that’s how you’ll be remembered ..actually don’t answer that I can imagine your reply.

Prospective donors may find this page when searching for your charity, and see arb meaningless banter. Is that good for the brand?

I know its a joke people BUT jokes have their time and place If you want to laugh come to spca horse care unit its a riot.
I know that stupid “horsehate” site is a big joke/parody and might be funny if it was n’t being quoted right after a rescue plea.

I have a different view point on this whole conversation. Yes, perhaps Wezz’s comment was uncalled for, but it has lead to a great deal of discussion, which ultimately results in a lot of traffic, so what was done (and apologized for) has now lead to a large number of people visiting this post, so ultimately it’s been a positive experience in terms of exposure.
However, I will go ahead and remove Wezz’s link do to the demand in doing so.
No hard feelings Wezz, but I know you understand :)
