I blew off some steam this weekend
The past week at work has been extremely tiring, the pressure is incredibly high and by the time Friday afternoon arrived, I couldn’t have been more relieved! Friday night saw the FormFunction team heading off to Tank in the Cape Quarter for some sushi and drinks – It’s the first time I’ve been to tank (No idea why!), and I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived there. The magical fish tank in the center of attention, but the suede couches, good music and excellent sushi are not to be disregarded! After some sushi and drinks, we decided to round up a few more people and head through to Jade, on Somerset Rd. Jade was good fun, they played some fantastic hip hip and RnB music, and moved onto some older tunes as well, so we all got a good hour or so of dancing in before deciding to call it a night.
Saturday morning arrived a few hours later and I hurried of for some Brunch with Sam Paddock. It’s been years since I saw Sam, possible 5 or 6 even! I went to have a look around his new offices, which are stunning and then we decided to go over to Greens for a snack. It was great catching up with Sam – Thanks for the delicious bottles of red bud! I’ll keep in touch with you :)
After brunch I headed over to my folks place to catch up with them and see what’s been happening – all appears to be good with them. This was followed by a trip to Canal Walk to find a watch and jacket, unfortunately I ended up leaving with a pair of Soviet jeans instead -typical! I guess I’m going to have to brave the place again in the near future to find those missing items! Whilst at Canal Walk, Fe and I needed to grab a few items for Warren’s Bergie Party!
We arrived at Warrens party right on time and all I can say is that Warren & Liz did an incredible job. We all looked like bergies, the flat was geared up, even the braai’s looked dodgy ;) It’s been a long time since I went to a party and had so much fun, I have a bunch of pictures, which I will upload the minute I have a chance, however, my head is pounding right now, so you’re going to have to wait a while still :P
Right, well, that’s the update of the weekend, it’s been an incredible one!

Oooooh I love dress-up parties! This coming weekend we’re doing a Christmas in July party. I hope there’s a good looking santa. ;-)
