Adsense earnings for June, almost $400

After pushing a few tricks in May, I managed to get my adsense right up to $500 thanks to a challenge I set myself. When June arrived, I wanted to push it up even more, but due to some down time, it was almost impossible to reach the $500 mark again.

I thought I was going to hit near $300 for June, but after optimizing the colours of my ad blocks and tweaking a few other things to due to the title of the site, 101 adsense stuff, I managed to pull in just under $400, which I felt was fairly impressive.

As you can see from the image above, I made $395.82 this past month and am already on $23.42 for July, so if things go to plan and I get an average of $20/day for July, I might be able to break the $600 mark – Then again, today was Monday (best day for adsense), and I have not taken weekends into account unfortunately.

Let’s see what happens! Here are some other Adsense related posts.

Not into Adsense, how about reading how I made R12,600 with TrafficSynergy?

Apparently Adsense has had a bit of an algo reshuffle that will knock the big boys down a few pegs and level out the earnings of the small-medium sites. Last month was also a decent month for me and also getting quite high daily rates 1st and 2nd June. Guess it’s good news for us small-medium sites :)

Ah fantastic, that’s exactly what I like to hear, thanks for bringing the great news Mike!

Hopefully it stays this way but with the integration of all the 3rd party advertising sites like doubleclick it worries me a little, 3 parties need their cut now not just two… someones gotta take the hit and I’m not sure if it’s going to be G.

I don’t see too much changing and I don’t see G being threatened, although, should another local company push harder and offer good rates, I could see South African people migrating away from G, but that’s just my thought.

G is working on things though, especially with the removal of the referral system: http://imod.co.za/index.php/2008/07/01/google-adsense-referrals-are-no-more/

Got something to say? Go for it!
