Promote your blog with a Facebook page
Pasting your blogs URL on your Facebook profile and importing your blog feeds is a great way to expose your blog, but at the end of the day, it’s very hard to grow a user base doing this. This is where Facebook pages become a better bet.
Creating a Facebook page for your blog, allows users to then become fans of your page and therefore you can grow your user base. We all know that a following is rather more powerful than just random visitors.
Let’s take a look at creating a page:
First step is to click here, this will take you through to the page creation process. You will be given three options: Local, Brand or Product and Artist, Band or Public Figure. Take some time to carefully choose which category you see yourself falling into. I chose Brand or Product and then Websites. After this, type in the name of the website and click the <Create Page> button.
That’s basically it! From here on, you are able to build up your page, with options such as a main image to represent the page, you can add administrators, control the wall and add various information to the page. This is a great way to keep your fans up to date with your movements.
I definitely suggest putting a Facebook page together!
