Facebook developers HTML cheat sheet

For those of you who have done any development inside the Facebook framework using the Facebook API, you’ll know that there are several changes to the norm, especially when it comes to Javascript (lack of innerHTML, etc.) – I came across this useful cheat sheet for HTML elements, which every developer should have a copy of, because it’ll certainly prevent a great deal of monitor bashing!

Print a copy, stick it on the wall and remember these elements for the next time you’re bashing around inside your code!

Aren’t those HTML tags the norm? So is this just a lil not to remind you what you can do?

Ye mate, this is more like what you can do inside the framework, so don’t try the other things ;)

I’ve run into quite a few hicups whilst developing Facebook applications!

  3. Seagyn Davis says:

Thanks! haha. I am pretty keen to get into the apps myself but I am worried it is a flooded market at the moment.

  4. Chris M says:

There’s still a lot of space for application development. Most of the applications are fairly useless and people are slowly catching onto the need to develop useful applications.

I have a couple that I’m going to be working on, which are extremely useful :)

Give it a bash, it’s a good experience and the API isn’t too difficult to adjust to.

I shall. Just gotta finish my site redesign, also changing a few things up so got a lot on the go.

Let me know when yours are done.

For sure, let me know once you’re done and perhaps we can brain storm some ideas.

First step is getting a good understanding of the Facebook anatomy in my opinion – feeds, fbml, canvas page, ajax/javascript abilities, etc.

Chat to you when you’re more free :)

note on my facebook wall –

    but they DON’T WORK
All the TAGS show up in the message.
