Thanks HoTsTePPa, they aren’t the actual designs that I have, we were pressed for time, so we went for something a little simpler, but I’m stoked at how they came out too.
SaulK – Haha!
Thanks Arne :)
Rox.. ye babe, getting the branding going, car is next :)
You gonna do the car as well? C’mon dude… easy there! Black cars are cool in only one colour… BLACK!
Disappoints me when ppl stuff up nice cars with stickers. Saw a 2008 Audi TT with a “Paul’s Plumbing!” sticker on the boot lip! I cud swear i felt a tear run down my cheek!
And if ever i have a plumbing issue, I will NEVER call Paul, cos he is a doos for stuffing up his Audi!
@Dave – Fantastic to finally have a chat with you, thanks for the kind words!
SaulK – Yup, it’s a whole new movement man!
Tristan – Haha! Ye mate, good to see you again and thanks for the congrats, appreciate it. Lol, ye, the pics are great ;)
Graham – Thanks mate, I would like to get a couple more made and give them away, perhaps in the next month or so, things are a little busy at the moment!
HoTsTePPa – I think that some dark blue writing saying “Best SA Tech Blog 2008 – http://www.imod.co.za” might go down nicely if it’s designed correctly, but I’m in no rush to do it, just an idea. LOL @ Pauls Plumbing, haha, wish you got a picture of that! LOL! Kak funny!
Rox – Yes, I’ve seen the magnetic branding, doesn’t look nearly as good as vinyl. I removed most of the Vinyl from my Corsa and the paint is still completely good, so I could always put on and remove, etc. Update my branding with blog awards? In what way? I’ve added a JPG Blog Award Badge at the top right?
Offline branding, like t-shirts, car branding I mean.
You just answered me in your comment to HoTsTePPA though, lol.
Look, it may get you some traffic… but it’s still a bit naff. And if you remove vinyl and put it on again a few times, it will mess up your paint. So think about it carefully hun!
Actually, the conversion from offline marketing to online is very very low, unless you are Kulula.com! It takes repetitive marketing to get the name stuck in someones head long enough to remember it hours later when they are sitting in front of a PC. And you wont get that zipping thru traffic at std ST speeds!
@Rox – Ah ok, hehe, glad I answered :) Ye, the vinyl doesn’t damage the paint fortunately, I kind of like the idea of taking the blog offline a little more than it is, open it to the public. There are many interesting discussions on the blog, but most of the time they’re by very Internet savvy people, it would be nice to get some ‘outside’ feedback.
@HoTsTePPa – That’s very true mate, getting it stuck isn’t easy at all, but for me it would be more an experiment than anything else. Haha, true, I do zip around rather quickly and most people would miss the message ;)
Hi Jacode, black was the easiest colour to place emphasis on the brand related items – A bright colour would have been great and I’ll keep that in mind for next time, definitely.
Please would you use your NAME rather than the hungry backlink anchor text in future when you post comments on my blog – would appreciate it! :)
the T-shirts are a slick touch man, nice 1
Nice… errr T-Shirt :P
Okay confession time… I wasn’t looking at the logo!
@SaulK – lol – was also focusing on something else first.
Very nice design Chris!
Dude, iMod t-shirts? Hectic!

Yo Chris! It was good to meet you at last. Hope iMod keeps growing from strength to strength.

Lovely Jubblies! :)
Great chatting with you and congrats dude, you deserve the win.
My Socrates look is improving ;)
Nice one, giving ant Tees away?

You get magnetic branding, estate agent mate of mine has stickers like that that come off.
I think car branding is a bit OTT though, t-shirts are cool, but cars… not so cool.
P.S. Are you going to update your branding with your Blog Award?

Love the shirt. Shame it’s colour is black. Would loved a bright colour. Maybe next time.
