As most of you know, I’m a big One Tree Hill fan and I managed to watch the latest episode, “You’re gonna need someone on your side”. After a couple of less exciting episodes, I was happy to see that they have cranked up the gossip in this one. I guess it was hard to up the pace after that amazing episode a few weeks back!
On the eve of Lucas and Lindsey’s wedding, they conspire to save Nathan and Haley’s marriage; Brooke pairs Peyton with an old boyfriend; Rachel and Dan return to Tree Hill.
The episode has received a rating of 9.7, which puts it in the superb category! It was really great to see an episode which really did reflect what One Tree Hill is all about. I have become a bit of a sound track junkie as well, so each time an episode is released, I make sure I take a look at the sound track for the episode. Here are the songs, which featured in this episode:
- “Something In My Eye” by Turin Brakes
- “Here It Goes Again” by OK Go
- “My Own” by The Perishers
- “Ballroom Blitz” by Sweet
- “Waking Dream” by Natalie Walker
- “Superstar” by Lupe Fiasco
- “In The Building” by Sermad
- “Open Late” by Ryan Lindsey
- “Never Find Again” by Jason Reeves
- “She Holds The Key” by Gavin DeGraw
- “I Taught Myself How To Grow Old” by Ryan Adams
It wasn’t the best sound track that has been released, but there are a couple songs which are enjoyable!
Can’t wait until next week when the next episode, Hundred, is released! Here’s a little teaser:
On Lucas and Lindsey’s wedding day, Peyton must choose between intervening and losing Lucas forever; Nathan tries to reconcile with Haley; Dan shows up for the family reunion.
