Local SA bloggers show Carte Blanche wassup

There’s nothing new about web 2.0 nor is there anything new about South Africa bloggers being right on top of things, but this Carte Blanche video embraces it all rather accurately.

Nice one Rafiq! I am truly thrilled to be part of the South African bloggisphere, which is leveling up with the rest of the world in terms of online developments!

So, I finally get to see the video that the local blogosphere’s been raving about ever since it aired. Thanks for making it easily accessible, Chris, lol. Despite the fact that you don’t like feed readers, I do :)

My opinions would fill a blog post. So that’s what I’ll be doing.

Oh: And next time, please find a way to share it via YouTube, if at all possible. The ability of the YouTube flash player to retain buffered video really comes in handy when posting comments on a blog… :/

I can put one up on Youtube a little later in fact :)

  4. I am wondering if John Web actually eats his Sunday newspaper? Taste seemed to be important to him… I wonder if he prefers the sports or comics section?

I’m 40 and I have never enjoyed reading a physical newspaper. I have always found the large format clumsy and the news print rubs off on clothes.

I also find the ever wandering attention span of people fidgeting with gadgets on the side to be an annoyance. Put the laptop down for a second and focus on me already!

I do use RSS but I still prefer email over feeds. I check my RSS feeds when I’ve run out of things to do or when I want a distraction.

Got something to say? Go for it!
