Hello everybody.

I am so glad that PayPal is finally available here in South Africa. I always wanted to do some online businesses but I always was faced with problem of withdrawing my earnings. Finally, my PayPal account is all set and I can enjoy both deposing and withdrawing money. If that's not Lekker!!! lol! Tell me really is.

Have a great one!

Thank you

I told him was not the right person for this..

I'm happy to help someone if there is a genuine need but not this one. wont go into details of conversation on yahoo... but enough was said to convince me not to touch it

Ben - that sounds kind of like a Nigeria type of deal.. just saying.

I haven't been around here for yonks but thought that by now SA would have settled this issue. I am a South African in Canada. Is there any possible way in which I can help? Chris - if I were to open up a bridgeway company whereby I accept paypal payments on behalf of clients and then transfer the monies via Swift so that the client did not have this kind of access would this work? I know it would be a scary thing for someone just to trust a stranger but there is such an avenue for online work - and not being able to receive payment is ridiculous. Currently I run a marketing website but have not needed to get paid through the site.

Hi all
I have always used Alertpay to process my credit card transactions, but just after the FNB/Paypal deal was finalised, I needed to withdraw funds from Alertpay to my SA Bank account and can you believe the Reserve Bank deducted like 15%, something they had never done before!
