The weekend finally arrived after a long and hard week of work and it was welcomed with arms wide open!
Jax and I had made a deal that we would head out on Friday and have a serious party and we stuck to the plans and made an absolutely awesome night out of it! We were sad that Ian couldn’t join us, but perhaps next time bro!
I got through to Jax place around 20h00 and we headed off to mBar for a couple predrinks. We were both super styled up in our best outfits and ready for what was going to be a night of pure madness! The vibe at mBar was great and we were lucky enough to get a good table. Tony Finger was spinning some sexy beats on the decks as per usual and we got the drinks flowing – Couple cocktails and some jack and the night started to pick up quite nicely. We left mBar fairly early to go and visit Giselle at 221 at the Waterfront. It’s the first time I’ve been to 221 and I can honestly say that it is extremely classy and definitely somewhere I would kill to go for dinner. The decor consists of a lot of glass, wooden floors, beautiful lighting and some awesome art ~ trendy trendy! It was fantastic to finally meet Giselle, as Jax has told me a lot about her and everything she said was spot on – she’s sexy, friendly and makes a mean cocktail!
During our cocktail sipping, JT dropped us a line and it turned out they were at Quay Four, which was a good laugh, seeing that we had planned to get out and about together but had not touched sides yet. JT, his beautiful girlfriend Alexandra and a few others were heading through to The Waiting Room, so Jax and I decided to head through as well. The Waiting Room was having a sort of break beat / drum and bass party, so the beats were awesome, but it was a little crowded, so we didn’t find ourselves staying there for too long, but we managed to get a good dance in.
After The Waiting Room, we decided that the only place left open and pumping would be Bronx, so we jumped in our cars and headed on through. Bronx always jams big time, the people are all very friendly (no, not like that) and ready to have a great night. A Jagger Bomb, some vodka red bulls and a few other drinks saw us dancing and laughing until the early hours of the morning. I honestly havn’t danced that much in years – Jax and I were bumping and grinding like never before – was a serious rush it was! We all got home safely in the end and it was a fantastic night all around!
I look forward to the next time we head out for a massive night together!
JT: SAFEST F*CK! ;)
