Ohmibod and BodiTalk Vibrators
Many many months ago, I wrote a post on the Ohmibod Vibrator, it was so long ago, that I unfortunately cannot find the origonal article, but after reading the Cosmo the other day (yes I read it, hehe), and saw an interesting article on sex toys available for men and woman, I felt I would write about this vibrator again, as I think it’s a really fantastic toy for the ladies.
Simply plug OhMiBod into your iPod® or any music player and it automatically vibrates to the rhythm and intensity of the music. Let your body feel the vibrations as you get down with your favorite tunes.
This is just great I think, but it’s not the only exciting thing out at the moment, the other exciting toy available for women is the BodiTalk – which is similar to the OhMiBod, but makes use of your mobile phone!
Boditalkâ„¢ is activated by calls made to or from your cell phone when in close range. The cell signal triggers a unique 3 pattern vibrating sequence that lasts for the entire call – enabling you to “get off while you’re on.”
These two ingenious inventions not only make for the perfect gift, but give women a chance to explore themlselves, which I personally think is very important!

I know that the Cosmo listed a place and price for these toys locally, I just can’t remember off hand, perhaps Adult World?

Hehe, well I suppose men could use it too, but ya, not really my thing hey. Most people have heard about the toy already, I just saw it again in the Cosmo and felt I should mention it, as I know that I have a decently sized female readership :)

Kristi – That’s a good question actually. It doesn’t mention that on the website, but it does mention that it can be used without a mobile, and has “7 stimulation patterns to experiment with and enjoy.”
The website talks about the vibrator being triggered by a cellular signal, which makes me think that it should work with a text message, or even a network change, like those LED antennas everyone used to have.
So, the question is, why are you interested about the vibration with text messages? Text sex? *wink*

Well, the thing is, I feel that woman should explore their bodies, so when it comes to a man having no idea what to do, they won’t feel neglected, but can rather show the guy what to do.
On top of this, these toys are great inventions, so it’s easier to talk about these ones specifically, rather than just any old vibrator.

I would just get worried that after all the juices are flowing, that it’s going to ‘dribble’ right down to the phone/iPod..
..though, i don’t think that i’ll be able to look at a girl bobbing her head to tunes on the train, with a smile on her dial. Ye, i’ll be second-guessing haha thinking that she has a .. lol.. i’ll stop there :mrgreen:

Deafness.
Yep. The BOM (Boy of the Moment) is deaf. And long distance. We IM and text, for obvious reasons. Haha, we’ve had some fun via text. And I am *perfectly* okay with that!
Plus, as a female, I prefer text to voice on my cell anyways. I just hate answering phone calls. I’m a bit of a loner in that, on the female front, I think.
So…. you should find out. Do a little digging! Don’t just *write* about it… do some first hand exploring! ;) As a college kid, I can’t afford it. Otherwise, I would do the exploring for ya and let ya know! :D
And on the women knowing so they can so a man, I totally agree. But the thing is… if a woman shows you, don’t go back to what you were doing!!!! (Oh the stupidness of boys sometimes.)

Kristi – That’s so very interesting to hear, wow! I did read around the site before posting the article, and have a friend who has actually ordered one to see what it’s all about, so hopefully I will have some decent news to post in the next week or so.
I totally understand the not answering phone thing, I hate answering mine too, and end up with a collection of voice mails at the end of every day!
Haha, not all of us ‘boys’ are stupid, well there are a couple who listen, learn and apply, with variety in mind.

I hate checking voicemails too. They’re always like “Why don’t you answer your phone?????” Oy.
And I know you did, I was just teasing you. I was looking around for info on the texting thing when I found your site about it. You had found about everything that I had. I have actually read your site before when looking for something else, but didn’t bookmark it or anything.
Yeah, I have hearing problems myself, so the deaf thing doesn’t bother me. But we had been talking about internet operated vibrators (like the internet operated jackrabbit or egg), for kicks and giggles, but they are SO expensive!
I don’t have an iPod! I have an mp3 player on my phone, but it doesn’t appear the ohmibod doesn’t work on anything but the iPod. Plus… he’s deaf. It’s not like he can appropriately pick songs! (Poor thing! I tease him endlessly and he still likes me!!)

Glad to hear that you’ve been to my site before, hopefully you will stumble across something else, which catches your eye.
I just thought that I should head over to some of the sites selling these vibrators and look for a comments thread or something, there might have been one on their actual website, I’m sure I noticed that, because there’s bound to be peoples comments somewhere! I will take a look when I get back to the office.
iPod, ye, it requires an iPod unfortunately, and those little things are so damn expensive! Oh, haha, “It’s not like he can appropriately pick songs!” – I didn’t even think of that, well you could always guide him perhaps in his selection of artists?
